To Say that the State is Pigshit is to Abuse the Value of Manure

The State – in the present case, California, but these comments apply generically – is more like an abandoned Victorian mansion with only ghosts roaming about the premises. Occasionally they rattle their chains to gain attention. We are not impressed. They are history.

A crew of eager, but befuddled, wonkie mechanics are poised to refurbish the old wreck. But to what end? It’s rotten beyond salvaging.

It should be torched. Engulfed in flames the old wood will burn bright and our dance will be a joyful frenzy.

And when the coals grow cold let’s rip up the foundation and smash it back into dirt.
